Choose a target file-size cap from 20KB to 2MB. These preset labels use KiB/MiB; check the destination’s actual byte limit. Compression runs in your browser and may reduce quality or resolution. Review the output size and appearance before uploading.
A very tight cap for small avatars or signatures. Expect a substantial reduction in resolution; check that important details remain readable.
50KB is great for avatars, thumbnails and lightweight web images: with JPG or WebP you keep a decent look at a small size.
For forms or web images with a 100KB cap. Quality and resolution may change; check the actual file size and legibility before uploading.
More room than a 100KB cap when the receiving form allows it. Review the result rather than assuming it meets the limit.
A target for photos or avatars when the destination accepts up to 200KB. Check fine text and edges after compression.
300KB leaves real headroom, ideal for content-rich photos and large web images — keeping a finer picture while staying easy to upload.
When the destination allows a larger file, try 500KB for detailed photos or scans. Check text, pixels and actual bytes; file size alone does not establish quality.
A larger cap for photos with more detail. Compression can still change quality and resolution; keep the original and compare the output.
For destinations that allow files up to 2MB. A larger cap does not guarantee original quality; review the downloaded file.
